Painting with glass

I am exploring blending materials which don’t normally sit together like glass and paper into one work.  The boundary between glass and paint is blurred in the mind of the viewer.

The fragility of the work is part its attraction for me.

In the piece below glass is heated and pulled into very thin strands before being fixed to the canvas board. The fragile glass strands are, for the time at least, safe from breakage.
