Sheets of thin copper mounted onto board.  The copper is then heated to produce the colour changes and wax was then dripped on it.

This continues the theme of using copper and burning /melting.  It has links to me of the ecclesiastical:- wax, candles and the tones of the metal.

As the copper is exposed to the air the colours will change and become less intense but the wax will protect some areas from this

Could have been on thicker board but otherwise quite successful and worth developing perhaps as smaller icon like pieces.
